Satan- we all know his issssssues...

We are currently sitting on the couch licking envelopes and sticking stickers with everyones names we've ever known... And I have given up- partially because I think my saliva glands have completely depleted and also because the rest of the names are in Georgia, and I don't know them.... yet...!

We are learning so much these past few weeks, months, days- whatever they are.... And it has been an absolute joy! When you are combining two very different lives, it can be tedious, but I have found you simply must hang on to those sweet moments. Moments where you looked in the eyes of the ONE you love- and thought... "Yea, this is it...He is mine, and he means simply everything to me..."

Life isn't easy but hey- when you fall in love, make it forever- or not at all.. Eternity or bust I say;)

Oh and someone told me I HAD to add- that I happen to think Skyler is the handsomest (oops I mean sexiest) man I have ever met-

yeaaaa

and the bridals are complete-
frozen toed, I am glad.

...The Proposal...

So the proposal story in our society today is quite the measuring stick when it comes to judging the caliber of the suiter. Judge as you will :)Knowing how sentimental Amy is, Skyler decided to center the proposal around their dock on the lake by her parents home. This lake is where Skyler and Amy had their first date; a day filled with kayaking, splashing, and enjoying the simple presence of one another. The date at the lake ended with Skyler and Amy relaxing on the dock watching the clouds go by, picking out cloud pictures and just enjoying each other. On this same dock Skyler and Amy later expressed to each other how they felt for one another and where their future together could possibly go. Now with this sentimental imagery one can see why Skyler would choose to center his proposal at such a place.
Skyler picked up Amy to go swing on the swings at the park nearby. Amy had no idea that this was the night that Skyler would pop the question of a lifetime. As they came to the park, they found the place totally consumed by a young single adult ward. This would clearly not fit for a romantic evening. Skyler took Amy by the hand and began to walk the lake towards a bridge that would cross over towards the part of the lake that led to their dock. Prior to picking Amy up, Skyler and his friends Andrew and Shem come along and help him setup his proposal. They lined the dock with white paper bags filled with candles. This scene of lighted white bags illuminated the dock with a romantic glow. Skyler then scattered the dock with red rose petals and had a trail of white rose petals from the beginning the dock to the end where sat a paper that read, "Hyphy...Turn this Paper Around, (other side)...Now Turn Around." As Skyler and Amy approached the dock Amy noticed something was quite different. She had known there were random lights around the lake but someething was different about their dock. She started wondering if Skyler had done something or was planning something. Skyler just non-chalantly kept walking with her and was taking in the experience. As they walked the dock, Amy and Skyler followed the trail of white rose petals and eventually made it to the paper at then end. As this was all transpiring, Andrew and Shem lay hidden behind the dock filming the experience. As Amy turned around to find Skyler dropped down on one knee with the ring glimmering in his hand, Amy's mind was in a rush of a thousand thoughts. Amy took a breath and with excitement and exhilaration in her voice said, "Yes!" After a few tender moments together, Skyler and Amy emerged from the candle lit dock and were greeted by Andrew and Shem who were filming the experience and interviewing them of the event. After documenting the event, Skyler and Amy continued to walk around the lake. As they approached Amy's parents home, she insisted that they go in and tell them their great news, however, Skyler assured her that her parents were not home as her dad's truck was no where in sight. They continued to walk aruond the perimeter of the Lake until they came to the park they originally started at (everyone had left by this point). Soon there came an interesting man from the shadows of the dark and as he approached the couple he said, "I believe those lights over there are for you guys." Skyler and Amy found this quite odd, however, Skyler inwardly knew that he had setup for a romantic picnic dinner in the park (Skyler had Amy's parents and his own setup the picnic). The picnic setting had nicely drapped cloths, candles, sparkling cider, glasses, sushi and truffles. After Skyler and Amy enjoyed their sushi and sparkling cider together, Skyler took his iphone out and had a music play list of all their favorite songs. As he had the songs playing, Skyler took Amy by the hand and dance with her there on the grass under the moonlight. After a while they were kicked out by a cop with a search light. The night was one filled with love and excitement as this new couple look forward to the eternity they would spend together.

So I am sure you are wondering about "Our story!" Which is one we have told over and over in the past few days and I figure it may be more effective if I simply post it here and we can go from there.

Well as most of you know, Amy was up at school in Idaho, up at BYUI, while Skyler was attending BYU, (Still an argument about which is better... Let's just say, ask Amy...:P) Sky's family has been living in Herriman Ut for about five years, while Amy's has been living in South Jordan for just over a year. Both parents faithfully serving in the Oquirrih Mountain Temple.. Christy, (Sky's mom) just happened to pick up a shift on a Friday which was Joanne's (Amy's mom) regualr shift... And just as moms do they got to scheming at lunch that day, telling of their good looking children attending school states away... So it was fate, after some serious stalking on facebook, and some random phone calls- they met... and fell in love. (The proposal story, yet to come...:))
